"Just got done w/ my 100K preventative maint. on my '05 Civic. In @ 8, & out by 5 the same day. And Jason was great! He even admitted they had forgotten to do one of my minor requests. He not only got it done in record speed, but then said it was "on the house." Even AFTER I had taken my debit card out, ready to pay for the final request. It's not too often an auto place will do something like that. Thanks to all the guys/gals behind the scenes too!"

"I have little to no technical knowledge about cars and several months ago the "timing belt" broke off and blown the head gasket and the damaged the pistons...if you know about cars you will know this isn't a pretty picture... Anyways, normally this kind of job would take somewhere from 1 to 2 weeks and it can get very expensive, but the shop did it in less than a week and the costs came in much less than what other shop quoted me. I could have avoid all this trouble if I would have done my 100k services on time and change the belts and hoses...felt so stupid but rather than being talked down to like many other shops' mechanics; the guys at Central Ave Auto were extremely patient and friendly throughout the entire process. I would definitely recommend this shop to my friends and families."

“I have an ‘01 Honda S2000. I've been taking it to another shop for service because they have the biggest service department in the area. A howl in my rear end had me thinking ‘bearing’ and the other dealer took 30 minutes to say they'd have to replace the entire rear end for $5,000.

“At that point I did a search on Google for another repair shop to get a second opinion. Central Automotive had really good reviews and they are just down the street from me. These guys were great to deal with. They worked past closing, and ended up diagnosing and replacing a bad wheel bearing at a cost to me of around $400. They saved me $4,600!

“There aren't many S2000s out there, so it isn't like they see these cars every day, but they jumped right in and fixed it in a few hours. If there's a way to have a better repair experience I sure don't know how. I'm taking my car there for all services from now on, and I've already told my folks, who both own Hondas, that they should do the same. No matter what kind of car you own, when you get out of warranty and need a place to keep it going, and who will get it right the first time, you really should take a look at these guys.”

“Last week I had car troubles and Googled a local mechanic. I called Central and the response I received was phenomenal.

“They asked me what the symptoms were, diagnosed it over the phone, and committed to have it repaired within 24 hours (in an effort to limit my rental car charges to a single day). Most of the time a commitment like this ends in failure. This ended with my starter replaced as promised in less than 24 hours. And Central Automotive got me a discounted car rental rate to boot.

The guys at Central are not only professional but they are witty and friendly, making the dreaded car repair experience considerably more tolerable. As a female, I often feel out of my element at car repair places. This wasn't the case at Central; the guys were very friendly and the shop was clean and comfortable.
