Acura and Honda Maintenance Minder Codes

Service A

Recommended Every 4-9000 miles.

  • Up to 5 quarts of standard oil
  • Inspect lights
  • Inspect wiper blades
  • Service door hinges
  • Inspect tire condition and wear pattern
  • Change oil and install new filter
  • Clean and lube all grease fittings
  • Inspect steering linkage
  • Inspect exhaust system
  • Inspect shocks and/or struts
  • Check U-joints or CV boots
  • Inspect transmission level and add as necessary
  • Inspect under car for leaks
  • Inspect belts and hoses
  • Inspect air filter
  • Fill windshield washer
  • Inspect/maintain brake fluid level
  • Inspect/maintain power steering level
  • Inspect/maintain coolant level (anti-freeze additional)
  • Test & Inspect battery
  • Reset maintenance light

Service B

Recommended Every 10,000 miles or once a year.

  • Replace engine oil and filter
  • Inspect lights
  • Inspect wiper blades
  • Service door hinges
  • Inspect tire condition and wear pattern
  • Change oil and install new filter
  • Clean and lube all grease fittings
  • Inspect steering linkage
  • Inspect exhaust system
  • Inspect shocks and/or struts
  • Check U-joints or CV boots
  • Inspect transmission level and add as necessary
  • Inspect under car for leaks
  • Inspect belts and hoses
  • Inspect air filter
  • Fill windshield washer

We will inspect and advise as needed during A and B services

  • Rotate tires
  • Independent of the Maintenance Minder information, replace the brake fluid every 3 years.
  • Inspect idle speed every 160,000 miles (256,000 km).
  • Adjust the valves during services A, B, 1, 2, or 3 if they are noisy.

Acura Honda Maintenance minder 2

  • Inspect and replace if needed air cleaner element
  • Inspect and replace if needed dust and pollen filter*
    *If you drive primarily in urban areas that have high concentrations of soot in the air from industry and from diesel-powered vehicles, replace the dust and pollen filter every 15,000 miles (24,000 km).
  • Inspect drive belt
  • Independent of the Maintenance Minder information, replace the brake fluid every 3 years.
  • Inspect idle speed every 160,000 miles (256,000 km).
  • Adjust the valves during services A, B, 1, 2, or 3 if they are noisy.

  • Replace transmission and transfer fluid we will inspect at service A and B and Advise fluid may need to be changed sooner depending on vehicle use*
    *Not available on all models
  • Independent of the Maintenance Minder information, replace the brake fluid every 3 years.
  • Inspect idle speed every 160,000 miles (256,000 km).
  • Adjust the valves during services A, B, 1, 2, or 3 if they are noisy

Acura Honda Maintenance minder 4

  • Replace spark plugs we recommend doing this service at 90,000 miles
  • Replace timing belt and inspect water pump we recommend doing this service at 90,000 miles*
    *If you drive regularly in very high temperatures (over 110°F, 43°C), in very low temperatures (under -20°F, -29°C), or tow a trailer, replace every 60,000 miles/100,000 km.
  • Inspect valve clearance
  • Independent of the Maintenance Minder information, replace the brake fluid every 3 years.
  • Inspect idle speed every 160,000 miles (256,000 km).
  • Adjust the valves during services A, B, 1, 2, or 3 if they are noisy.
